The Predictive Attributes page in mParticle allows you to view and manage all predictions in your workspace.
To access the Predictive Attributes page:
Navigate to Customer 360 > Predictive Attributes using the left-hand navigation.
You will see a list of every prediction, along with details about each prediction’s quality, status, and refresh frequency.

To create a new prediction, click + New Predictive Attribute, select the prediction type you want to create, and enter your prediction definition.
For detailed instructions for how to create each prediction type, see:
The Predictive Attributes page lists all predictions that you’ve created in your workspace. Each row pertains to a specific prediction’s attribute and includes the following key details about its configuration and performance:
| Predictions list column | Description |
|---|---|
| Predictive attribute name | The name you assigned when you created the prediction. Select the name to open the predictive attribute’s detail page, where you can view configuration settings, prediction quality, and target event definitions. |
| Type | Indicates the prediction type: Future Customer Behavior, which predicts the likelihood that a user will take a specific action, or Best Offer for Each Customer, which recommends the next best offer for a user. |
| Quality | Displays the prediction’s performance rating, based on data sufficiency and prediction accuracy. Quality levels include Good, Very good, and Excellent. Use this value to monitor whether your dataset remains strong enough to sustain reliable predictions. |
| Status | Shows the current operational state of the prediction. Values include Calculating, Active, Inactive, or Failed. Active predictions continue to update their predictions according to the refresh frequency selected. |
| Last refresh (UTC) | Indicates the most recent time Cortex recalculated predictions for this attribute. Monitoring refresh times helps confirm that predictions are updating as expected. |
| Refresh frequency | Displays how often predictions are recalculated, such as Weekly or Monthly. The refresh cadence is defined when the prediction is created and can be adjusted later. |
| Actions | Opens a menu with options to show details, update frequency, run now, or delete the predictive attribute. |
Click any prediction’s name to open its detail page. When you open a prediction’s detail page, you will see a snapshot of the prediction’s definition and performance, including its quality rating and last refresh time.
Regular refreshes ensure predictions stay current with the latest user behavior. To change a predictions’s update frequency:

You can also update a prediction’s refresh frequency from the prediction’s details page.
If you select the On demand refresh frequency interval, then the prediction will only refresh when you manually run the prediction refresh. To run a prediction refresh:
To delete a prediction:
This permanently deletes the prediction and disables it from being used in any audiences. The predictive attribute remains stored on user profiles and in the data catalog.
