The Trends page provides a detailed, visual overview of the event and user data ingested into the currently selected workspace in your mParticle account.

To find the Trends page: navigate to Data Platform > Trends using the left nav.

\n

The Trends overview presents a graph of your ingested data over a customizable date range.

\n

\n

Following are descriptions of the metrics displayed at the top of the Trends page:

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
MetricDescription
Total ActiveCount of all users that were active in your apps or websites.
App InstallsCount of application state transition “install” events. The Web SDK does not track “install” events, so this metric only applies to the mobile platform SDKs.
SessionsCount of sessions in your apps or websites.
Average SessionAverage session length.
Events ReceivedCount of events received. Use this value for diagnostic purposes and to help understand what data was being ingested in real time. The event counts are approximate and don’t include some events, such as those with old timestamps. It does include some events like consent grants and denials that aren’t included in the monthly Credit Usage Report, which details usage-based billing for value-based pricing customers.
Events ForwardedCount of events forwarded to outputs.
AlertsDisplays the number of alerts which occurred when forwarding data to an output service.
Only the Fatal alert type is displayed.
RevenueDisplays total revenue.
This tab is only shown if there is a non-zero amount of revenue to display.

All metrics can be filtered by date range, environment and input.

The Identity section provides a summary of the user identifiers (for example: email, customer ID, or IDFA) ingested for the specified date range, environment, and input.

This section is filterable by the date range, environment and input options at the top of the page.

Displays summary information representing the current workspace’s usage, showing the following metrics:
